Honest question..who's left in the program. Adnan, Redish, Newton and two walkons. This is insane LOL!3 points

Again we cannot afford it but he needs to be done. Unless something changes I will not be renewing my season tickets. I have had them for 10 years. Plus it's not like we have a large fan base. I can get them back whenever I want. Fire him now and bring in someone with winning on their resume. I will not give money to a University that does not care about winning. They renovate this place and for what? I will see what happens in the portal but I'm sure it will be terrible. We have 0 guys on the team right now that should start a D1 game.3 points

Had a laugh at an email the other day. Got a work message about an upcoming skills enhancement seminar and the presenter was Todd Cetnar who played during the D1 transition days ( I think.) A blast from the past, glad to see he's doing well in his career after basketball.3 points

I am confident LCC can find another coach to lose 24 or more games in a season. But enough about them. James Jones, ualbany '86 and yale won an exciting game in the ncaa tournament today3 points

I would love to have WB back. I know people on here will disagree. Just my 2 cents. Siena would be wise to hire him, guy can coach. To bad we can't combine him and DK.3 points

Have signed two rightside and two leftside Def. Ends AND will be signing three more LB's that are May graduate transfers. No names but they are looking at some good ones. Coaches tell me that most of the the teams in the league lost key players as well as us [so did Idaho by the way - our week three opponent - their QB among others]. Players want to come to UA becasue of last year's successes.2 points

We have an onsite visit report "sighting". 6'7 kid from Iona coming up this weekend. Will be a sophomore, from London, U.K. and...shocker...he played HS ball in Philly. (Really good Catholic league school). Was pretty highly recruited out of high school. Played only 14mpg as a frosh averaging 3ppg and 3.2 RPG. Sultan Adewale His big offensive performances came against LBSU, Buffalo, Fairfield, St. Peter's, Rider, and St. Francis. Interesting player...a bit raw in some areas but he has some solid potential. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RbgC69uJL2w https://twitter.com/SultanAdewale122 points

Until I find out about some problem with how he was treated by the coaching staff that warranted his leaving the team, I'll agree with dslyank on this one. Any player that would walk out on his team because he was punished for something or didn't like how things were going, instead of stepping up and being a man and correcting the issues and leading the team, has no spot on any roster of mine. I don't care if he is Michael Jordan talent wise. Someone who would walk out on the team is a cancer, and don't let the door hit you on the way out. The above said, that feeling is with the assumption that he quit because of game plan and/or because he was benched/punished for something. If there was some form of actual abuse from the coaching staff, then that is a completely different story that needs to be told for the good of the program and to make a change at the top. Until the whole story is out, he is just a weak quitter that needs to be gone.2 points

Not sure the announcer for UMBC is a reliable source; but he was promoting the opposite several times yesterday. Claimed one or more of the league blue bloods could be on the outside looking in this year for the AmEast tournament. Not saying he is right, but he was praising the league heartily. On the other hand, while praising the current UMBC coach, he was saying UA and UMBC have played some of the greatest games of all time. Again not arguing that , but pretty sure many of the games he referenced were with UMBC former coach I believe. Personally, I cannot say if the league is weak or not this year, but it does seem pretty balanced overall, more so than ever perhaps. For a 5 or 6 year period UA pretty much crushed "everyone" in the league. No one has done that since or perhaps ever? So was the league weaker than or was UA just in a league by themselves ??2 points

I’ll agree Marshall had a tendency to drive the paint straight into double teams. However he’s only a sophomore and that kinda stuff usually gets cleaned up as an upperclassman. tough loss regardless2 points

To paraphrase Allen Iverson: "I know I'm supposed to be there, I know I'm supposed to lead by example, I know that. And I'm not shoving it aside like it don't mean anything. I know it's important. I do. I honestly do. But we're talking about defense, man. What are we talking about? Defense? We're talking about defense, man! We're talking about defense! We're talking about defense... We ain't talking about the game! We're talking about defense, man! When you come to the arena, and you see me coach... You see me coach, don't you?"2 points

The selling point is the 2 very good guards. The type of guards you typically dont see together at this level. The facilities are very nice for a low major. If and it's a big if .... we get 2 impact transfers we can be very good. Even Killings would have a hard time messing it up.2 points

I know for atleast half of these guys this won't matter but with the transfer portal, what is the graduation rate for mens basketball players? Some of these guys are skipping degrees to pick up pennys in NIL hope it is worth it.1 point

The thing is you don’t know is that UA DID try to move it … they tried but Vermont was already in town day before. Them getting down here Saturday would have been even tougher & more unsafe. There’s always behind the scenes administration stuff that goes on that not everyone is privy to. Stunk for UA fans but glad to be able watch from couch on miserable day. Bottom line is we got a HUGE W!1 point

Just a heads-up that the board might be down for a while today. Running some updates but they shouldn't last long.1 point

Didn't get to watch as much of the women or men as I would have liked this year but to me, this was one of Coach Mullens' best coaching jobs with all the attrition. By the way, saw that Jillian Huerter has entered the transfer portal. She played 25 minutes a game at Rutgers. I *think" Meaghan Huerter has another year of eligibility. Would be a fun sister act next year.1 point

What the blank!!! I have watch lacrosse and football games in all sorts of weather; however, I draw the line in the sand or this case sleet and snow and the highly case that conditions will be much better on Sunday. If this game is allowed to be played, we are putting the health and welfare of two teams on the line both on the field and traveling to and from the game. Each year I make a significant GDAC contribution plus tickets for three sports. Why should our GDAC investment in our student-athletes be allowed to be used by coaches and sports administrators who cannot make common sense decisions? Vermont faces serious decisions concerning traveling to and/or from the game. The updated weather forecast calls for snow or sleet until at least 10:00 AM Saturday. Tonight: Snow likely before 3am, then snow and sleet. Low around 27. East wind 3 to 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Total nighttime snow and sleet accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible. Saturday: Rain, snow, freezing rain, and sleet before 10am, then rain between 10am and 5pm, then rain, possibly mixed with snow after 5pm. High near 34. North wind 6 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Little or no ice accumulation expected. New snow and sleet accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.1 point

Killings sucks but his being gone has nothing to do specifically with Killings gone but that they changed entire direction with respect to coaching staff. You continuing to beat this moronic drum is one of the dumbest things on this board. They hired Shaka, that's what led to the change not DK taking UA after the previous coach got fired. You point maybe would make some sense if Steve Wojciechowski was still the HC and only Killing left. Enough already with this completely idiotic point. And I don't even like Kilings. It's like saying Carm was fired at Siena because I bought a bucket of KFC for dinner. The two events are completely unrelated.1 point

You unfortunately need to fire him now. Can't coach. And can't hold on to talent. Need to figure out a way. Back load the contract or something but he needs to go.1 point

There are D2 (and even D3) kids that can thrive at the AE level. Watching Colorado St win a play in game tonight over Virginia, they have 2 D2 and one D3 guys that are significant contributors. Love players w chips on their shoulders, and that can be kids coming down a level or kids coming up a level.1 point

Defense could use some coaching up. Slides/ doubles have been bad for years. Often unnecessary and poorly timed, and they don't do a good job hedging. The offense hasn't done well capitalizing on their high percentage looks, which shows in their low shooting percentage. Hogg did a lot of damage in his first couple years as an off ball shooter on the right side of the offense, I wonder if he moves back to attack. Any updates on Salit? I don't think he's dressed for any games this year, is he injured?1 point

For me, the best part of March Madness is rooting for the underdogs…looking for the big upset. That makes it hard to pick winners. I’d rather lay a bet on who is more likely to win the contest on BPF. Incidentally, at Barefoot Landing in Myrtle Beach there’s a purple store….everything is purple. Made me feel right at home. https://www.purpleologist.com/1 point

Keeping Thomas and Marshall is a must or it's a complete rebuild from a $iena year. Those two guards are good enough to anchor a championship level team. Neely was supposed to be the 3 to bad he did not recover well from ACL. Unclear if he'll ever be the same guy again. Desperately need competent front court players. BTW, I'm a big fan of Taylor the kid they got but he'll be a freshman.1 point
