  1. 2018/2019 Schedule

If this isn't a home and home starting at SEFCU this year, I won't be there. Only caveat is if it's part of a tournament or something with them returning a game.
  2. 2018/2019 Schedule

Looking back, you're right...we've played holy cross 2 times away and 1 at home...so safe to assume 4 year deal with them returning next year. Also correct on Bryant, that was part of the Gotham classic, I forgot.
  3. Let's get it going...next season is right around the corner...quick scan of this years schedule shows the following games probably on the schedule. Am I missing any? at Ionaat Kent St. at Dartmouthvs Holy Crossvs Boston Uvs MonmouthSiena TBD
  4. 2017-18 Season

    You'd be surprised and wrong!
  5. 2017-18 Season

I believe Maine and UNH don't offer...that's the rumor I heard.
  6. 2017-18 Season

    No idea on that...
  7. 2017-18 Season

I asked around and the entire MAAC offers cola. It may seem like a trivial thing but a kid has two schools on his list...one is going to give him 2k or 3k in spending cash and the other won't...who do you think he'll go with?
  8. 2017-18 Season

You are absolutely correct...based on my understanding student athletes from high profile sports such as basketball and football especially were closely monitored. Case in point, I believe years ago Oklahoma (St?) football players were "working" for a dealership, it turns it it was a front to simply funnel money to the kids who never even showed up. So you are correct.
  9. 2017-18 Season

True...nothing prevents other conferences from offering it as well. The decisions are conference based and then school based. Conference decides to approve a COLA and then each individual school can chose how much to offer students. My understanding that it is subject to Title IX but no across the athletic department. If UA chose to give out stipends to the men's basketball program, they would need to do the same for woman's program. http://www.kansascity.com/sports/college/article86062792.html
  10. 2017-18 Season

Cost of living adjustment or stipend. Basically means over the course of a season 2k in cash to cash strapped college students who don't hold jobs as basketball takes up so much time with travel and practice.
  11. 2017-18 Season

Are there any available numbers regarding donations? Is gdac participating growing at all?
  12. 2017-18 Season

Nailed it! Why is Benson sitting on naming rights? And cola is $2kx26 students... Men and woman. That amounts to a bit over 50k. Take a stupid money game and offer cola. Drop stupid useless oneonta.
  13. 2017-18 Season

What is badly needed is a sefcu renovation, cola and other ancillary funding like summer school sessions... The first two are obviously a huge deal. Ua is one of only two schools not offering cola. Everyone else does and I belive a significant issue on the recruit trail. This must be addressed... Cancel stupid oneonta and take an additional money game. That alone would pay for woman and men cola.
