Our defensive lack of skill shows!!!!, Def. getting hammered - MOST of our shots on Offense are wide??? As always.

Yep. Some poor defense in front of the crease again and 15 turnovers - mostly bad passes................Still we had a chance. Why have a video replay rule if they don't use it? Second game where we got screwed by the officials - could have at least had a chance here and should have won the Drexel game. The announcers clearly could review the film...............they saw what happened..

As I have said for a couple of years, we need a new defensive coordinator - my opinion. Guys need to be more aggressive and better at the slides. Wings have to be better on FO. On Offense, we just can not get the ball inside consistently - we seem to pass round way outside over and over and can not get it inside for a shot. Both Colgate and Penn get it in quick and shoot immediately - we have not been able to do that. Our guys are just not comforatble dodging and getting inside to shoot or even shooting when they have a quick opening. We take a lot of low % shots.

WAY too many turnovers - unforced - really bad passes. Bad shots at the net, our guys hold the ball too long, yelling at the TV to "take the damn shot.....". They had 5 bad passes out of bounds in the second half and we could not take advantage at all................... Still close D guys letting attackmen get a step with free hands.....not sliding well........ Partly the fact that we have a lot of young guys starting and playing a lot I guess = game is much quicker than HS. Very frustrating - Not much else to say

It really was a nice day for lacrosse. Sun was out a lot and it was not as cold as expected. Their D was very agressive and got away with numerous holds, expecially on FO. That was one reason we seemed to never come away with the ball. I thnk they had just as many unforced errors, especially on balls thrown out of bounds in the second 1/2. Another thing that may have HELPED change the outcome was two really bad possession calls on the sideline in front of our bench - Right down below my seats. Just obvious bad calls. Clearly our ball but the same ref called them red each time????? I do not recall exactly but they may have scored off each of them. I had no issue with the called off goal at the end of the first 1/2. I thought it was released just at the buzzer but could have gone either way.

Critical errors, a few. Biggest difference is that it was their 4th game, our first................Refs were not on our side either........ Colgate players were extremely aggressive - I think many many things would have been called by other refs. Still having trouble getting the ball inside on attack. Our def. still has a couple of guys who I have not liked on the field in a couple of years - slow laterally and too careful..... Our kids need to be far more aggressive - they finally started being so in the second half. Had a chance at the end but had a let up at the worst time at the end. Can't afford that.
