  1. 2018/2019 Schedule

Why not just go for all money games like Texas Southern did this year? We'll take a beating, but we'll get paid.
  2. 2017-18 Season

I hope those plans are made public to the fans at some point. It is hard to raise private money if the donors (us) don't know what the money is being raised for.
  3. 2018 Bracket Challange

The MAC is closer to the power 5 conferences than the America East is to the MAC (IMHO). If not, it is at least a comparison to ponder. The top teams in the MAC are very athletic. We did beat Kent State in December, but they still had a very athletic front court and lost some seniors going into this year if I recall correctly.
  4. Men’s NIT

The NIT plays 4 quarters instead of two halves? 10 or 12 minutes? Interesting ... .
  5. 2017-18 Season

During the AE Title game, artists' sketches of UVM's new multi-purpose facility scheduled to open in 2020 were shown. It looks stunning. Keeping up with SB, UMBC, and UVM on the recruiting trail will be difficult as our peers all feature beautiful new facilities.
  6. Cornell

TD Ierlan goes 24 for 24 at faceoffs, and the game is close? I am no LAX pundit, but is it not fair to say that Cornell outplayed us big time by keeping it so close despite losing all those faceoffs?
  7. Doesn't matter. Their season is probably over by 9:15 p.m. Tuesday night.
  8. Exactly. Our guys gave it their best. The more athletic team won. Had the refs not been so bad and our shooting not sub-40%, we would have won notwithstanding SB's athleticism.
  9. Rules are so different its hardly the same game. Very strict rules on contact, high sticks, something called shooting space (defender cant move in front of attacker in the shooting area) so only the goalie has a helmet. I also dont know why some face offs are side by side and some facing each other. Apologies to anyone who is a fan, but curling is a more exciting sport than women's lax. You'll also notice that the goal scorer immediately tosses their stick to the ground so that the ref can make sure it's legal. I've curled. It is an awesome sport! Is there NCAA curling ... ?
  10. I would rather play SB than UNH. UNH is perhaps the most athletic team in the AE and has a great frontcourt. UNH plays as hard as anyone too.
  11. #4 seed vs. UNH first round. Most likely at UVM second round.
  12. Syracuse

    10-2 UAlbany, 4 minutes in the 3rd ...
  13. UMBC has arguably the most explosive guard in the conference and a new arena. We had better play defense because UMBC won't shoot that poorly again. If we lose, the #4 seed is about as good as we can do, and we are looking at home versus UNH, at UVM, and at the winner of Hartford vs. UMBC. Good luck with that ... .
  14. With Hanks back and a more experienced O-Line, wouldn't the odds be in favor of a more proficient offense this year? The offensive production really can't get much worse, and all signs point to it being better, whatever that might ultimately mean.
