The player on our team who has the most FGA..and 3FGA (by far)..is shooting below the team average in both categories.

Aronhalt - FGA: 365, FG% .389 ... 3FGA: 168, 3FG% .369

Team Average - FG% .422 ... 3FG% .370

Take out Logan's shooting..and the averages go to:

FG% .433 ... 3FG% .370 (same)

The team's offense is getting a lot of looks (avg. 13.5/game) for a guy who's just not shooting that well. He can obviously get hot..you don't score 30 points if you can't..but so much pressure is put on the team..both offensively and defensively..when the guy who's taking the most shots is shooting below 39% from the floor.

Last night was a particularly bad night, nothing from anyone was falling. Against the backdrop of SJ putting up 89 on UCONN, I can see where we'd look pathetic.

Even on a decent shooting day we'd probably look like a HS team against the BE.

I don't know what the answer is regarding Logan, obviously he's hurting the team right now. The problem is there is no one else to take those shots. We just don't have the depth at the guard spot. I know this much though...Black should be taking 15 shots a game.

Very disappointed. The intros were the best when they played the video highlight on the jumbotron. The majority of the fans were albany fans maybe 80%. To litterally lay an egg like that is dissapointing. At this point im pissed more by the fact of how much this team has regressed shoooting wise since the begining of january. Logans shooting was flat out pathetic and has been since he took that fall in the colgate game. There are no excuses for such horrible shootimg percentages. The rims are all the same where ever you go.

To be honest, it was great to see the team at MSG, with a great alumni turnout BUT....it was an embarrassing performance!! I look at Coach Brown and I look at the team when he speaks - I don't see the fire in Coach Brown's belly with this squad and I see a "glazed over" look on the face of the players. I can honestly say that I did not see one coaching move all game last night that resulted in something positive. I saw no anger from anyone on this team - which is a very bad sign. The team seemed resolved to lose. Coach Brown has done a nice job with this program for the most part and has represented the university well - but the team is going nowhere and in every business, especially the coaching business, change can become a necessity. Further, as for talent level, perhaps we need to be recruiting somewhere other than Iowa - "B" level talent in Iowa may not be able to match up with the talent level elsewhere. Thus, while I think our talent level has dropped below the level of some of the other AE teams, this team should be competing better on a nightly basis - and I just don't see this happening with the current regime in place.

Going nowhere? Last year’s team won 7 games. This year’s team (who has one senior and was picked to finish at the bottom of the league) has won 12 so far, with 4 games remaining. Before the season started, did you really think this team would have won 12 games by now? Sure they got blown out last night and at Hartford, but other than that this team has been in every other league game.

I guess you have a short memory. The "B level talent" from Iowa were major contributor's on UA's best teams.

This was by FAR the worst possible scenario for me. I brought a lot of people to this game hoping to show them that we are a team that is improving and something they should get involved with. Instead I'm getting emails today asking how I can watch so many games and follow so closely when the team sucks. I tried to explain that last night was one of the worst performances of the season but..... Very disappointed today.

UAlbany has three winnable/must win games coming up and a toss up at Maine. BU is on another level talent/athleticism wise. Hopefully this team bounces back and makes a respectable game. But... it seems like we just have to hope we shoot lights out or else trouble is too much.
