I saw today that Joe Cremo and Greg Stire will be playing summer league games at Hudson Valley on Monday and Thursday nights. They'll be playing with James Thomas, Zach Bye, Talor Battle, the Huerter Brothers and some current and past St. Rose and Siena players. The CDBA schedule got a little ragtag at the end but Cremo and Team Bye ended up winning the championship last night.

From the Siena board regarding Cremo - "....The Cremo kid is a very smart and strong player. Handles the ball, drives and can shoot very well......"

 

Nothing we didn't already know.

 

There will be some real competition on the perimeter - preseason practices will be interesting, I would expect the Top 3 listed below to play 28+ mpg, that doesn't leave much time:

 

Evan - 1st team All AE

Ray - 3rd team All AE - All Defensive team

Peter - enough said!

Dallas - proven commodity

Jamir Andrews - will see

Joe Cremo - seems very solid

David Nichols - PG of the future

Not a bad situation for Cremo coming in. No pressure this year with senior guards to learn from and wide open minutes next year.

 

Based on who recruited him, I have high hopes for Jamir Andrews as well. Almost wonder if Dallas doesn't get some minutes at the "4" considering the backcourt depth. His shooting would really open things up.
