  1. One team not to switch rosters with is LCC 😂😂😂
  2. Shame we never saw what I saw on his high school film when he signed with UA. Thought he would be a Mike Black/ DJ Evans type of PG for four years. Injuries causing no playing time and no practice time to keep pace as a D1 player doomed him.
  3. Hey DK, I know it's your program now, but maybe you can learn something from our previous coach: Saint Rose womens also capped the year ranked first in the country in defensive points allowed per game, defensive field goal percentage, and defensive three-point field goal percentage.
  4. So your saying on April 2nd, one of these teams will get their first win of the season, lol? Or maybe they both somehow lose the game 🤣🤣🤣?
  5. Yawn, UVM wins again and goes to the NCAA tourney. The fans and alumni must get really bored of this. Wouldn't they prefer 8 straight years of not winning the AE 🤣🤣?
  6. Getting worse. Lost to Georgetown 17-3, not exactly an LSU or Vandy. Our starter went 2 inn and gave up 13 runs, 8 walks in the game. Should UA consider dropping the sport someday and just have a club team? Certainly not a money maker and between facilities and weather, surely not getting D1 talent to come to UA.
  7. To make matters worse as we are even below mediocrity, the Brook, 2nd year in the CAA and a 7 seed, just beat Hofstra in the semis to reach the the championship game vs Charleston. Only goods news? We are not the worst SUNY University Center. Buffalo finished 4 and 27. Thanks Bulls for keeping UA out of the crapper 😲.
  8. If you look back over the past 15-20 years, UA Lax were ranked in the top 10 when we had Tewaratten finalists, Frank Resitaris, Lyle and Miles Thompson, and Connor Fields. Without them we were an average team. Their creativity and scoring prowess made the whole team better. That is just not seen without a player of that caliber. Who knows when we get our next top 5 national player. Till then, we are average at best.
  9. I picture the end of season meeting between Killings and Benson. "So Dwayne, what do have to say about the season? Well we made the AE tourney this season! Can I get a 2 year extension? Sure thing buddy, sign here."
  10. Great read to bring back memories. Lived all four years on Dutch Quad so on cold, windy days, entered the tunnels from the corner of the podium nearest Dutch. Had many a hair cut at that barber and bowled many games on the lanes. Don't want to know how much money I spent on beer at the Rat. Also, each semester I knew where they parked the pallet in the tunnel of the next semesters schedule of classes/course descriptions booklets(no Internet yet 1979-83) so grabbed a copy out of one boxes before it was available. A few days later, several cases were empty as word got out.
  11. Another loss to get to 0 and 6 on season. Don't want to criticize the young men but the pitchers are averaging 8 walks per game. Pretty sure the strike zone is the same in college as it was in HS. These guys are D1 players. What is the issue with not finding the strike zone. If they couldn't find the zone in HS, I would think they wouldn't get a D1 offer. Very bizarre and surely frustrating to the coaches.
