Spent the rest of the weekend after the game on Long Island and just got home. I can't tell you what a great moment it was to experience that game live with 4 friend I met at UA and my 9 year old son. Just an amazing experience for all of us. I was nervous as hell about this game and really thought there was a very small chance that we would win. I thought Coach Brown did an amazing job coaching this game. When SBU went up big and the crowd was getting louder and louder and we had the ball, it was deafening. Coach saw this and needed to just quiet the crowd and called a timeout. It was just such a great move at that point in time and it was for no other reason than to try and calm the crowd down for a few minutes and it worked.

When the horn sounded I grabbed my son and stormed the court. It was AWESOME!!! You can actually see us on the ESPN highlights. As my friend put it, "You looked like a running back carrying a large football and weaving your way through the defense." HAHA! It was a moment that neither of us will never forget. My son has been talking about it all day today. Here is a pic posted on twitter by a reporter who was courtside. You can see us on the left side. My son is wearing a grey UA shirt, blonde hair and I'm carrying him up high. He said he loved seeing Peter Hooley jumping with the other players because he had a bird's eye view. Also, DJ, Sam, Peter and Coach Brown came over to us by the UA bench after they cut down the net and shoot our hands and said thank you for coming. It was a really classy move, especially the way they spent a moment with my son. So awesome. So proud of all of them.
