Neither SBU or UVM have a facility that is allowed to host the full tourney. The champ game, yes. Full tourney, no. Instead of bitching about UA and money Becker should focus on getting their crappy arena fixed. Maybe then they can move to a better league since they seem to think they destroy this one every year.

The morning after, I kind of feel for them, clearly they all lost their heads starting with Becker on to Voelkel etc. Don't know how Will does it but good for him and us. Ho-hum all year and then the tourney gets here and he turns into Wooden.

Getting tickets for season ticket holders should not be too hard. Last year I recall us not even buying up all 600. There were UVM fans scattered all around in our section.

I am skiing at Whiteface next weekend, so this will be the first championship game that I have ever missed. But I am thinking of buying 2 tickets and donating them back to our school or BPF because I am afraid we will not buy up our allotment and more SB people will get to go. Will we definitely keep all of our tickets allocated?

If that's a concern, I'd be happy to buy your tickets off of you with the promise of wearing purple and screaming my lungs out. Dying to go to the game, but I'm not a season ticket holder.

Yeah, I don't think you will have a problem getting rid of them. I'm not a season ticket holder since I don't live in Albany and would be willing to buy them.

Posted on Facebook by the Alumni Association:

Due to the limited capacity of Stony Brook’s Pritchard Gymnasium, the Alumni Association does not have tickets available for the men's America East championship game. If you’re in the Albany area, we hope you’ll come out at 4 p.m. today to watch our women’s team in their bid for the America East championship title. We’re also planning regional viewing parties for the men’s game next Saturday, so check our website tomorrow for more details: www.albany.edu/alumni.
