[MBB] Game #20: 1/15/18 - 7:00pm - @ Binghamton

Will called out the bench. He said he put someone in (Conway..didnt say his name) and he didn't box out even during the FT.

The bench? Really? That was the problem tonight.

I love Brown and hope he's here till retirement...but he is DEAD wrong about tonight.

EDIT: Only Clark and Foster are on the stat sheet. 2 guys. That's all he used. No wonder why our guys are tired. The deeper end of the bench can't be worse than David and Campbell. Why isn't Cochran playing 10 minutes a game? Why aren't Costa and Ahmad splitting 10-15 minutes? Why doesn't Conway come in for Campbell for 5 minutes?

2nd half at Maine gave up 56pts

2nd half at Bing gave up 50pts

Doesn't matter your offense..that is a defensive problem.

If theyre not going to buy into defense you have to at some point adjust. Let them run. Look at UMBC

Who on the team do you want to run? Who is the offensive juggernauts we are holding back?

People on here are complaining players have too much leeway to take any shots.

Maybe there's no fix... 1 seed is gone 2 is gone as well and perhaps even 3 at this point. Need to develop bench with some minites and get ready to try to win something in playoffs.

Whos Binging fault is that ?. Coach still insists on putting him in in the first place.

I think he is commenting to the people asking him to play his bench more...I'd guess (?). It is a radio interview.

We'll be lucky to get a first round home game at this point in the AE tournament. Get ready to play all the games on the road. #ourhousewillnotberulinanything

Yes because nichols who looks like the grinch stole his game over Christmas shooting 3-a million and passing the rock like a very very very catastrophically poor man's Stockton is the answer.

There's no end in sight, he's not close, his being dog crap means everything is that much harder on everyone else. He can't make a bucket even wide open. Pulls up repeatedly from 18 ft out instead of attacking and getting to the line.

And everyone is afraid to say anything because poor David is volatile and we may lose him mentally...what if he sulks...grow up! Go sit your ass down...

Lol thats great. Man, being a bench player for WB has got to be tough. That leash is so tight I dont see how any player can get into the flow and play loosely.

Thing that jump out to me: we got CRUSHED on the FT line for the first time all season. This means we didn't attack which points to effort. We settled for jump shots. You won't win that way if you don't make the opposing defense guard you and just chuck all night long.

Will called out the bench. He said he put someone in (Conway..didnt say his name) and he didn't box out even during the FT.

Stat sheet is wrong then because Conway was in.

I actually didn't notice him but it must have been in the 1st half then when the ESPN feed was all wonky and some folks were 20 min behind and then it skipped forward on restart? The stat sheet I'm using is the ESPN one...so it likely is wrong lol.

Cochran played 3 minutes in the Maine blowout. If we didn't see more of him in that game, it's hard to imagine seeing more of him now.

Speaking of the Maine game, I'm not sure why Stire, Campbell and Cremo all played over 30 minutes in that game with the Bing game right around the corner. There is something weird going on with the bench.

As a group, this team should ask itself how Greig Stire played 35 minutes against Maine on Saturday and then did everything short of lighting himself on fire tonight to help win this basketball game without much help from anyone else.

Which is why I have such a new found reapect for Piekell and Becker winning all those regular season championships. It truly does take a lot of not only coaching, but managing the team through the grind.

Not sure if this is why but remember Foster got hurt. Edited by MRSGDG
