I'll take this start to the 2016 season.

I think a few were trying to run off coach before the season even began.

Well, in our defense, he didn't seem to be recruiting a good QB lol. But, Sussman must have put in a TON of work over the summer and looks WAY better than last year even with his occasional mistakes. He's no Fiacchi yet, but he's decent and will only get better I think.

I can't recall where I heard it or read it, but there was something that GG said about Sussman learning his position...the impression he gave was that he didn't play QB all that long in HS so he was still in the learning curve. Anybody remember hearing that this year?

I remember people here talking about his history and that he was quite raw, so it makes sense that it would take him time to adjust to reading CAA level defenses, etc. Kid can obviously make all the throws as evidenced by those nice tear drops for TD's against HC...but his mental game has shown a huge improvement from last year to this year. He's knows, more often than not, what he's doing it seems. Last year he was kind of thrust into the job cause Crook was, for all intents and purposes, stealing a scholarship (lame pun lol) and you could tell he was overwhelmed.

I'm starting to like Susan :). Hopefully he continues to improve and by the time he graduates, he might be quite good.

Some thoughts on the game.

1. Good idea to move the students to the visitors bleachers - really good turnout.

2. Happy not only for Sussman but the receivers also. The receivers seem to be pretty talented but I'm sure it must be difficult for them when there are so few pass completions. Some may not have liked Roberson's celebration but there have been so few passes completed, I'm sure there was a lot of excitement.

3. Nick Dillon and Abner Logan are really good.

4. Julian Cox didn't play much (if at all) late in the game - Mencer did a good job but hope Cox didn't get injured.

5. Abner Logan left the game with a wrist / hand injury and went back in so I hope he's not injured.

6. Any updates on Sakowski?

7. I didn't know much about Brian Dolce before the season but he's having a good season.
