  1. I think you might have to start Q.... it's very rare that a Freshman can come in an be better than a Senior..... But I guess we'll see when practice comes... Thre really aren't very many freshman bigs that are talented enough to start. at this level.... If they were really good then they go to a higher level..... at least on the good teams anyways.
  2. How do you know that Spisto and Driscoll were Brown's top guys? From my understanding Stewart was in the 2nd position... From just watching games and reading the board it seemed as though Stewart was the 2nd guy and was doing a good job with the big guys..... It kinda makes you wonder though with 2 of 3 assistants leaving this year if they are worried about being fired next year..... The last thing Brown needs in the last year of his contract is more turnover..... We've already had Jamal Hughes leave, Todd Martin leave, and now 2 asst. coaches.... Hope that Brown can steady the ship bc the more people that leave is a negative reflection of the head coach regardless of what position they take. Stewart had some philly ties and Spisto coached at Delhi before so the jobs were obviously ones that they got themselves.... not ones that Coach Brown hooked them up with to advance their careers.... it'll be interesting to see how the team responds with 2 new coaches and 5 new players.
  3. I agree. The excitement is definitely there. But with the excitement will come big expectations. I hope this staff can keep these guys together.
  4. Todd was not very good this year. It doesn't matter if you were at practice or saw him in the game. This is just not the right level for him. Brown is supposedly a really good recruiter. This is something that one cannot deny because he brought in Jamar, Levi, and Iati. But if he is such a good recruiter why did he bring in Banks, Knotts, Hughes, Martin? 3 out of the 4 are not here right now and we all wish Knotts wasn't still here. Let's not make Brown out to be the savior bc it seems like he has made his share of recruiting mistakes already!
  5. Let's just say Jon Iati plays the 1, and does a halfway decent job. That would start Jamar at the 2 playing at least 30 minutes. Jamar starting at the 2 would put Lou at the 3, playing at least 30 minutes. You're telling me that no one will transfer with all the guards at these positions? You are absolutely crazy. There is no way that Brown can keep all of these kids happy. He's in the last year of his contract and he is going to have at the least 2 kids leave the program bc he has brought toomany in. Not very smart in my opinion. Kid's leaving the program will help him get fired, regardless if he goes 500 or not! Let's remember, Rick Carlile was coach of the year in the NBA and he got fired!
