#103367 [FB] Game 11 - vs New Hampshire - 11/18 - 1PM

Posted by HOF2013 on 18 November 2017 - 06:55 PM

Gives this loser gg some reprieve unfortunately and a reason to keep this loser coaching staff in place.
Lost season!

. I am at hunting camp and did not use my season tickets today. Sorry but I truly think you have gone off The deep end with the negativity. There are always positives and after mentioning the negatives a couple of times it is tIme to look at the positives. Offensive coordinator should go obviously. But there is talent on the team and some petty good players red-shirted and few commits already.

I am really invested in this program, played for Fordy years ago, have had 3 season tickets for sometime now and donate more than I probably should to FB and I get really pissed at the on-field coaching like you do, BUT, there are positives as well. All I'm saying. Time to talk about them

#103103 [FB] 2017 Season Review...where do we go from here?

Posted by HOF2013 on 13 November 2017 - 04:24 PM

I am as big a fan as anybody, having played for Coach Ford years ago and I have had season tickets for a while now.  I gotta say the jump to the CAA was a HUGE jump - I know some of Coaches that were with Ford for years - played with a  couple.  They were expecting a difference but were still somewhat surprised in the difference in speed and athleticism that came with that step up.  20 more scholarships makes a HUGE difference!   Nuff said

Having said all of that I gotta say they need a new offensive Coordinator. Other teams in the league have first year coaches working with mostly the same teams as played last year and were successful.  No question the play calling was very suspect at best.   Brunson is obviously not the answer at QB.  Need someone who is consistant, has a better arm and throws well - other teams have freshman who are better.  BUT the O line will be better next year with the experience and with the two red-shirts probably starting.  They need a couple of new guys to come in who are BIG but who have fast feet - the guys we have now are BIG but their feet are slow.  First I have heard about the Hanks thing - he is a different caliber runner than Mofor - sorry to say it but that is obvious.  THAT will be a huge loss if true.

Jeff Undercuffler from NJ, who has committed at QB, is huge 6'6" and 220.  No idea about his arm but there are videos.  Need a couple of the red shirt defensive players to be studs or for a couple of new guys or Jr college guys to come in who are studs.

Gatusa Keeps saying he is building a program - these are all his guys. Delaware coach FIRST YEAR in that program - left Richmond - winner with same guys that had losing seasons.  It is coaching folks!

Mofor - incredible back in HS BUT it is easy to see the difference between him and Hanks.   He is just not as good right now.  Next year with a year's experience he should be much better.  HOPEFULLY they will change the offense and use both of them in the same backfield - at least some times.

Line is doing a better job today and the results are better.  2 turnovers inside the 15 are hard to overcome!

#102339 Title IX violations

Posted by HOF2013 on 12 October 2017 - 08:38 PM

The entire Title IX argument is BS.  There are NO women's sports which have the same number of participants as Football for example.  All other things being equal there is no opportunity to add the number of females that would cause an equal number because of that.  They have other sports that men do not have like Field Hockey, but the numbers of participants are not as high.  A someone else pointed out Title IX was never meant to apply to athletics - give thanks the liberals and liberal organizations like the ACLU.  I am NOT a politically correct person and get tired of the BS caused by these people and organizations and the fear they cause among all of the snowflakes!!!!!

I have season tickets and haven't missed a game in years - I can tell you the crowd was screaming at Bernard as much as Coach Gatuso did

I agree with all you guys - It is OBVIOUS to ALL of us AND to the other team When they bring in Sussman EVERYONE knows he is going to run the ball -  Have him take a step step back and toss a 10 or 15 yard pass, have him do a play action ANYTHING!

#101260 Game 2 - Morgan State 9/9 1:00

Posted by HOF2013 on 08 September 2017 - 08:18 PM

Listened to Roger Wylands interview with Coach Gatusso the other day.  Said they were basically letting him decide when he was ready - he has been released by Drs. Trainers etc.  As good as Mofor looked it might be good for him to wait until next week's home game
