  1. Albany now has a board on CSNbbs via the CAA board. I am trying to make the CAA board more active. It is an excellent board that I think many Albany fans will find useful. Not just for posting, but also information seeking and sports talk with thousands of fans throughout the country. The CAA board/Albany board isn't that active, but if you find it useful, maybe it can be a second board for Albany fans to post on. Here is the link, enjoy http://csnbbs.com/forumdisplay.php?fid=32
  2. So I guess we have a date with you guys in Harrisonburg on October 5th. Should be fun. Nova has talked recently about demphasizing football when the Catholic 7 departed the BE. Another statement by their president then came out stating that they were happy where they are in football. If the CAA stays together with the exception of one or two football schools, the CAA would probably be okay. Then again, it could give what mainejeff is talking about reality.
  3. Did any of you get to watch the game on NBCSN? I think Albany is going to be ecstatic if and when NBCSN comes to town. The coverage is superb. Far better than ESPN3, U, etc...
  4. BTW, if any of you are still having problems signing in to the zone, feel free to post on the JMU rivals site. Not active, but I do check it daily and will and often do post there. It is free to post on the unpaid message board. http://jamesmadison.rivals.com/
  5. Good stuff, BTW, there are a couple of Albany alums that live next to my grandmother in Harrisonburg. Very nice people. I am sure they are looking forward to watching Albany play at Bridgeforth. Although, I haven't had the chance to ask them yet.
  6. Never heard of a word called "you're," y'all is much better and easier to say. Real men say y'all!
  7. Then you obviously haven't met a true southern belle, and those cheap women must be yankee transplants.
  8. Looks nice, If Albany can prove itself I am sure that the community will be behind Albany further and that expansion will happen sooner than later.
  9. Hope we can get a North/South rivalry going. DUKES v. DANES!! Just so you know, Dukes are greater than Danes and southerners are greater than yankees--just look at how many yanks want to move south. Plus better looking women, unless your in Mississippi, but I digress. There you go, maybe that north/south rivalry/Dukes/Danes rivalry will begin after all, hahaha! Oh, keep trying on the CAAZone, not sure why it takes so long.
  10. Out of curiosity, how many is the stadium suppose to hold, chairbacks, etc... A $1,000 donation for chairbacks seem cheap. At JMU you have to have at least $2,000 donation and then pay $550 per season ticket, but are only allowed two seats. The benefit is that you get free beer and food. Then they have the hospitality suite and for those, you have to donate at least $20,000 a year, but the benefit it accommodates 16 people. They are also rented out per game. Anyway, sounds like y'all are getting a good deal up there in Albany.
  11. Just wanted to say congrats on joining the CAA. I look forward to the battle of the purple and gold.
