Not sure if anyone noticed, but the capital districts resident horse fanatic had been doing a much improved job of writing about this team. There are actually $iena fans complaining about too many UA posts and not enough $iena.

I never wanted less $iena, if anything I wanted more $iena (even as a hater). I just wanted more UA coverage. More coverage can equal more informed more rabid fans.

I suggest everyone give credit where credit is due. Give them some clicks. Click on the UA posts to show interest. I am thinking it might convince them to keep it up and possibly even give more coverage. Print media is dead, clicks pay the bills and management will push what gets clicks.

99,

Thanks for the information and I agree the tu reporting has been improved. I am still a subscriber (sorry Bob) and always read the tu/UA sports blog post. Do I need to do any more to "LIKE" and get clicks credit? I do not have facebook or twitter and never comment. Is clicking on to read enough??

I wouldn't worry about giving the TU any more credit (clicks, comments, etc) than you already do. They may be improved, but they are still the same rag that put on the front page editorial section that we didn't need a football stadium a couple of years ago and they still employ that bum Mark S.

I wasn't at all saying that the TU is a quality rag. LOL. I was just saying that clicking on the UA articles when they are posted shows up in their metrics and stats, which in turn leads to greater advertising revenue for the paper. I have no love for them, and I don't care what their revenue looks like. That said, I do however want them to continue to increase their coverage and keeping pumping out info that most fans won't normally see. More coverage = better chance at adding additional fans = better attendance and region support = more budget for the team = better recruiting and recruits = continued success on the court and hopefully eventually upgrades to sefcu which in turn can lead to a move to a bigger and better conference

I have nothing against more media coverage especially at media outlets better than the TU(any of the others) . However if all it took to move to a bigger and better conference was media coverage by the times useless LCC wouldn't still be in the lowly maac after all these years :D
