One of the better wings in camp. Very smart and hard nosed player. His best asset is his ability to make plays off of the dribble. He did a great job at driving to the basket and finding open cutters and spot up shooters. Very high basketball IQ, plays a lot like Luke Walton. Can play at any level of basketball because of his toughness and ability to make plays. Average shooter from 15-17 feet that needs improvement. Decent athlete, great kid and a hard worker

Well that's certainly exciting! The fact that Coach Brown mentioned him by name means that he has signed something..right? Can you sign something (LOI) for a future year? This crosses over into the 2013 recruiting thread..but we have 6 scholarships for the 2013-14 season..6 signees have been mentioned in press releases as specifically for 2013-14..2 have been mentioned by the coaching staff on twitter in Jiggetts (we believe for 13-14) and Rowley (click says for 14-15)..and 2 have been reported as verballing (Wells and Guzonjic) without any official mentions meaning we presume they're for 2014-15 even though they're listed on websites as Class of 2013.

 

If all of my understanding is correct (?)..that means someone/ones who we think will/can be on the team in 2013-14 actually won't be..right?

Looks like we have some interest in Elisha Boone..a 6'4" SG from Queens. Currently has offers from Hofstra and Drexel..but some high majors are also sniffing around.

Looks like we'll have Calvin Crawford visiting this week. 6'7" SF from Valley Central (NY). Has interest from a number of northeast mid-majors.

Saw Coach Brown tweet that we have 2 commitments with 3 scholarships left to give for 2014. That would make sense with the Mike Wells and Kenan Guzonjic verbals..and Puk, Devlin, Johnson, Evans and Wiegmann as seniors this year.

Plus Rowley for next year? Not sure how that's working with the previous commitments. Seems like we would need a really need a center in the 2014 class. Speaking of which, Nate Gehring who it looks like we offered, as gotten offers from Kent State and Pepperdine recently.
