Recommended Posts

Will's post-game interview with Rodger:

-Fought like heck 1st half, not as smart but competed

-Second half a lot better flow, shared the ball

-Did not executed the scout in first half (Yehbouh hit too many 3s), executed it in the second half

-David played well, made an effort on defensive side of the ball

OT: Pikiell signed a 3 year extension at Rutgers, 15.5 million guaranteed over next 5 years. He is 26-24 since arriving including losses to SB and Hartford this season. The apocalypse is upon us.

Wow. That is nuts. He's actually a good coach, but that is a lot of money for that type of position. I thought Fran leaving Siena for 1.8 a year was big. 3+ per year?

How long does Brown stay at UA with that news?

Brown has a great life. Plenty of money. And a program that has his name all over it. He will stay until he retires, and thats a good thing.

I hope Brown gets an opportunity one day for a big time job. He knows how to coach the big games and I wonder what he would do with a roster full of talented players. If he coaches until he retires here at UA, I hope the university does something to give him the resources to actually win games in the tournament, whether it be pumping in money into the program or conference realignment. It's pretty much near impossible to win a tournament game in this league as is. Happy he is pretty much set for life, but no one should be too comfortable at any job.

Maybe Im exaggerating as well with the softness of our team and its more of just my opinion of that generation as a whole.

I'm technically part of the generation you speak of and even I'm ashamed of my 'peers' as a whole.

But I don't think it has to do with our team.

What friggin generation would do this?! Only today lol.

I'd argue that doing stupid things is part of growing up and has nothing to do with any specific generation. I can be convinced however that these days the limits are pushed even further because any stupid act can go viral and make someone internet famous.

i guess you missed goldfish-swallowing in the 1920s, phone booth and car-stuffing in the 1950s, or coaches biting off the heads of chickens.

I know, whats a phone booth?
