MBB picked 3rd in AE Coaches Poll

The UAlbany men’s basketball team was picked to finish third in the America East preseason coaches’ poll, which was released Thursday.

 

The Danes, the defending league champions, where picked behind Stony Brook and Hartford.

UAlbany junior guard Peter Hooley also was named to the preseason all-conference team.

 

Here is the poll:

1. Stony Brook (6) 60

2. Hartford (2) 55

3. Albany (1) 51

4. Vermont 48

5. Binghamton 34

6. New Hampshire 26

7. UMBC 23

8. Maine 17

9. UMass Lowell 10

How was the big man Peters?

 

Mixed bag, I felt he tried to do a bit to much... Should be an adequate rebounder... Has more offensive moves then probably any center we've had during d1 era just do don't finish a few times.

Thanks. Feel like he can be a huge impact in this league.
