[FB] Game 5 - @ Elon - 9/30 - 2PM

I really cannot believe that the OC called for a substitute with 17 seconds left and the clock running. If you wanted to change personnel, you have to spike the ball. Instead 10 seconds runs off the clock waiting for that guy to get in position. Unreal. Totally botched the ending. I shouldn't be shocked but I really am that they didn't spike the ball and regroup. SOOOOOO STUPID!

I'm sorry... WE NEED A QB... he is not the answer .... sorry ... we have a national championship type defense ... with a division 3 offense.... and it starts and ends with the QB...

He's been awesome last two games... Or at least making big strides. I'm not ready yet to dump him.
When u say awesome did u mean the 1 touchdown offense performance ??? Awesome is a very very strong word . I think u mean to say he managed the game and did not lose it for us. Awesome ?????

He was making a ton of throws. A few times he got them within striking distance and they ran the ball in. Look at his qbr and yards completion rate.

Only a simpleton judges strictly on td count. Question for you... Are you a simpleton?

He's not a CAA caliber QB

Who's fault is that? I saw something the last two weeks. Maybe I'm alone...

I agree. He played well the last two weeks. This week he totally regressed but the OC doesn't put him into positions to be successful. Run, Run, 3rd and 9 have to pass, Elon knew it and brought pressure, which forced Bruson into throwing off his back foot or on the move a lot. I don't think he can make those throws. Not an excuse because even when he had time he looked like $iena.

If you mean "simpleton" as a person who knows that the team with more points wins the game, then YES...I am ..haha ... touchdowns, except for today :), wins games. He is not good . Is that the OC? I don't know.

Brunson did not have a great game. However, when they put him in position to do well early on, he was fine. He was 5-9 in the first half. Why only 9 attempts? Why make him throw deep outs...that's not his game.

More importantly, I think something is wrong with Brunson...physically. I know that he had elbow or shoulder problems in the past (I can't remember...I think it was the elbow). Today, as the game progressed...he had ZERO zip on the ball...even the short passes. Last week he was tossing some ropes. On almost every INT or near INT today...the ball was thrown soft or floated. He had nothing on the ball.

At the end, he was clearly grabbing the right arm (elbow area) and that's why Sussman came out.

I think he's got an injury...

Thank you!!!

And we don't have a CAA caliber offense. Honestly, what is a CAA caliber QB. Brunson is no worse than URI, UMAINE, UNH, W&M, Delaware, Towson, and Carbone (Stony Brook). No worse at all. Slightly worse or even with Bendarzyck at Nova. Frankly, the three best QB's in this league reside in the South: The kid from Elon, Lauletta, and Schor.
