Said a long time ago that the key to this season revolved around 3 things # 1 can Hanks make it back as a productive back? #2 How quickly can the O Line become effective. #3 Can one of our QBs make a lot of progress over last year? 0 for 3. I'm presuming that the staff decided to redshirt Verdi and Solt, so maybe an injection of that size and likely talent will help. Brunson has shown flashes, but not enough. He's regressing as the line regresses and just does not have a powerful arm. Sussman has a powerful arm, but apparently the coaches think the rest of it is not up to WB's level. It just blows my mind that they do not see what is happening on the field and switch to a short pass offense
with quick drops and throws. Or utilize a 2 minute offense more to try and keep the subs down. And can we stop subbing so much????? Or how about roll outs more often? Why are tight ends almost invisible? They keep trying to put a square block in a round hole and keep getting the same result. Oh well......is it basketball season yet?
Definition of insanity: doing the same thing over and over and over again and expecting a different result.
I mean, how sad/laughable is it that a guy like me (who's only been WATCHING football for 20 years but never actually played it any level other than recreational) can see some of the issues? I've been calling for a slant pass for 4 years!
GG's inability to adjust his system is going to leave him unemployed. He must have a bunch of 'yes men' on his staff who can't get him to see the things us fans see...it's not even complex stuff we're noticing. Enough is enough. Pretty soon gonna let me wallet start 'talking' instead of my fingers.
