A lot of coach speak about this game. It will not be a blow out, umbc playing so well, we'll not win by 40 again, umbc tough @ home, etc. Well, we have dominated them home or away of late. I see no reason why we can not do it again. If we play UA basketball--good D, pound the boards, patient & efficient O, I predict another blowout. Even if we stumble a little defensively like last night {at times}, we should still beat umbc Sunday. Call me an optimist, but UA @ peak is definitely 40 points better than umbc and even not @ peak, I feel we are the superior team.

The way this team is rolling right now...I'm hopeful for a win. 8-3 with two of those being close loses to UVM. That Bing loss is brutal...still.

UMBC has arguably the most explosive guard in the conference and a new arena. We had better play defense because UMBC won't shoot that poorly again.

If we lose, the #4 seed is about as good as we can do, and we are looking at home versus UNH, at UVM, and at the winner of Hartford vs. UMBC. Good luck with that ... .

I want to drink from the same pool of optimism as you! 40 points better than UMBC again? I would love it, coupled with a Hartford loss to Vermont, but I don't think the talent and skill level between the teams is that significant.UA is the better coached and typically better prepared team. I will take the team that knows how to win, which is UA, but I think it will be a battle we can come out on top of. A close grind out victory here would really help the gaining momentum and confidence. It was awesome to see Nichols splash those 3's to put the foot on the throat and close that game out. More of that fire and intensity in a win at UMBC could lead to an excellent close of the season.
