by the way...this guarantees an above .500 season. Very nice step...like I and some of you have said...stupid personal choices caused the team possibly 2 extra wins.

At this point I just wanna see a win over SB, finish .500 in CAA and start preparing this team for next year, with if done right, can be special.

I fear for next year's offensive line. Have any newbies even played a down?

Correct me if i'm wrong but didn't Ebi have about 220 yards in the 2nd half?

Yes, you're wrong. Per LiveStats he had 230 in the 2nd half

Looks like 1,383 yards and 16 TDs for Hanks after this game is added in.

Looks like I'll be at the SBU game after all LOL.

Wonder how that stacks up against national fcs leaders?

As of last night he was 6th in FCS http://www.ncaa.com/stats/football/fcs

1 Chase Edmonds Fordham 1499

2 Tarik Cohen N.C. A&T 1215

3 A.J. Hines Duquesne 1095

4 Lenard Tillery Southern U. 1085

5 Khalid Abdullah James Madison 1074

6 Elijah Ibitokun-Hanks Albany (NY) 1072

7 Joe Protheroe Cal Poly 1037

Edmonds had another 119 today vs. Holy Cross at Yankee Stadium

Wow. Didn't watch due to a wedding but DANG...what a comeback. Whatever happened at halftime needs to happen every game lol.

Based on the boxscore, it was a solid effort all around. What was the issue in the first half? Particularly nice to see Brunson doing decent in terms of completions...from the UA highlight it looked like he was pretty comfortable.

He DEFINITELY needs to be the starter next week...even if Sussman has an INSANE week of practice. Crook and Sussman, as far as I'm concerned, are done playing UA football at QB unless they are backing up due to injury. We know what they are, and I doubt even another training camp will fix them...Brunson needs to be examined seriously against SBU and then penciled in as the starter and get 1st team reps in the summer...unless they bring in a JUCO QB or something.

UA could get nothing going on offense until the last few minutes. UNH totally controlled up until then. They lost their stud running back with what appeared to be a concussion. In one two play stretch UNH completed

a couple of swing/wheel route passes that were wide open both times....guess they didn't learn from the first one. Albany was killing itself with penalties, some iffy calls by the homer refs and some stupid calls like late hit

out of bounds. Pass interference was rampant, but the refs were allowing a lot of contact during the routes.

I admit I turned this game off before the half thinking this would be a blow out. I'm pleasantly surprised to say the least.

I don't understand how we get solidly demolished by Delaware and repeat that through 2 quarters of this game and we win in the second half. Did a different team come out of the locker room?

What UA team shows up next week? First half or second half?

On those swing/wheel routes, the tight end picked off the LB that was going over to cover. Maybe GG called it to the ref's attention, because later they called a pick on us.

In the last couple of series our D-line was coming off the ball so fast it looked like we knew the snap count, just blowing by the blockers. Unlikely to be conditiong this late in the season.

UNH head coach Sean McDonnell sang praises for Ibitokun-Hanks and the Great Danes in his postgame press conference.
"He's a hell of a running back. He broke tackles and did the things that you see on tape," he said. "I thought their offensive line did a very good job staying on blocks, and they did enough in the passing game to keep us on our heels."

Still, even if we beat Stony Brook we only finish tied for sixth in conference, so I'm not going to worry about playoffs this year. St. Francis made it in, though

Same team. New mix of plays. Seriously this is the only difference.

Even though Hanks had 39 carries, Brunson was effective and even with an ounce of weight on linebackers heals, Hanks was able to capitalize.
