Oneonta

I think you MUST play X# of home games if you want to maintain/build a strong season ticket base. I do not know exactly what that number is; but I think it is a duh that if you do not play about ½ your games @ home, season tickets would suffer and for that matter walk up sales would also. Now, I am not advocating scheduling DII/DIII, but it appears mid major all over the place are having trouble getting home games. In fact, power teams pay us mid majors to play at their courts for pretty much the same reason. {MUST have home games} Do you think they really like having to pay us to play.

You missed the point. You have to have home games. It is hard to get home games. That is my point period.

I did say I do not recommend DII/DIII games; but I recognize why some are scheduled.

Why build a stadium ? Why fix up Sefco? if you are not going to play home games? Bob Ford always said he'd play ANYONE ANYWHERE---on the thruway, in the middle of Western Avenue. So Oneonta is certainly not ideal, but ANYONE is still a game and @ Sefco better than on Western Avenue! (at least in my opinion.)

I had more fun chatting with the people in my immediate area (also season ticket holders) than watching the actual game hah. Good times.

You know what they can do to make it more enclosed effect? They should drop a black tarp down in the corners which will make it look closed off. That tarps can have giant Dane logos or sponsors.

Attendence was 3500. That's very good considering the opponent.

Why black? Use a tarp with a virtual crowd on it
