On the Louisville board pretty much agree that Campbell was fouled and they dodged a bullet. Ah well, time for bed.....

What is the link to their board? Do you have to subscribe to it? Thanks.

There's a few but this is the first one that came up:

I would have liked to see Cremo take that contested three at the top of the key instead of passing it off to Campbell. Im ok with WB not calling a time out there and you had to go for the win in that situation instead of OT. The threes just did not fall

Edit: Scratch that first part on the Cremo taking a three. Probably would have been blocked. Either way would have wanted him to take the last shot

I have watched Campbell make 3 after 3 in warm-ups and I am told he makes most of them in practice as well, and this is why Brown hasn't put a leash on him. That said, it is painful watching him shoot them in games. He is shooting what? 18% from long distance this season so far?

I hope him hitting the one late will give him some confidence for the rest of the season. If he can be considered a real threat from there it will definitely open up the floor for everyone else.

While I understand the no call, it really hurts. Campbell shoots 80% from the line. Pretty good chance we are sending the game to OT or walking away with a win with him on the line shooting 3.

Here is an article from the Louisville perspective where the foul is admitted: https://www.cardchronicle.com/2017/12/20/16804630/louisville-survives-scare-tops-albany-70-68

morning all, just getting in...the ref looks like he got caught in between blowing his whistle and not....unfortunately...while def. a foul, not 100% sure it affected the shot....my biggest problem is, not sure if anyone went back and checked, when we were up 3, Louisville got ball down low to big under basket. I was pretty sure his foot was OB....has anyone checked that???

we NEED to get that game...damn....I agree and disagree regarding the time out at the end. Im sure we all wanted Joe to take the final shot. Therefore a TO is warranted to set up a play, whereas, riding it out can also be a plus as Joe did have the ball in his hand...

Last night we showed more will to win than at any time I believe in the last 2 years maybe....

Another example of officials possibly altering the outcome of a game, with a $iena call/no call.

They were clearly watching the shot, and the defender clearly hit his arm.

An example of favoring one team over another.

It was definitely a foul in the rule books, but you won't see refs call that 99% on the last play of the game. Campbell did all he could do to sell it too going to the ground.
