Football Gameplan is Predicting a Victory

Recommended Posts

As much as you have in your bank account. JK

RMU is having some serious QB troubles right now and overall they're aren't very strong.

My prediction is a 2 TD win. Weather is supposed to be 55 and sunny so our passing should get back on track.

RMU has lost 4 in a row, three of which by less than a TD.

Dayton at Robert Morris 23-12

Robert Morris at Monmouth 20-17

St Francis-PA at Robert Morris 28-14

Robert Morris at Morehead State 9-8

Va Military at Robert Morris 40-13

Wagner at Robert Morris 20-13

Robert Morris at Cent Conn St 16-10

Robert Morris at Duquesne 17-14

However, just for comparison purposes...RMU beat Morehead State. Morehead gave a very good Dayton squad their only loss this year. But then you look at that VMI loss. VMI is a full scholly Big South team, but they are bad. I think if we played VMI, we would be 10 point favorites. So it appears that RMU has the talent to do some good things, but hasn't really put it together.

And I just realized this....but we've got a solid 4-game win streak going.

I hope this holds true!! I need to shut my cousin up! I want to make a bet with him...any suggestions on the wager?

Question for the football people here who know more than myself about the NFL and FCS:

I was looking at the website quoted above, and specifically, its list of All-Americans for the FCS. Will most, or all, of those All-Americans from the FCS get drafted in the NFL Draft? How often do FCS players (or perhaps a better question is how many per year) get drafted? I know it's a simple question to many of you, but it's one I'm really curious about nonetheless -- thanks!

From the AGS site, seventeen drafted in 2007, a couple more than last year. A lot more get free agent contracts.

My standard wager with Siena fans in my office is to have the loser wear the winning school's t-shirt and hat around the office the next day after the game.
