I made a 3TD win prediction over on AGS. I was not impressed with Monmouth against CCSU. They have some really crappy losses in the beginning of the season. They got blown out by Wagner 47-19 I think it was. They have also played some tough teams.

 

Results so far for Monmouth:

 

Maine - Loss 21-14

Robert Morris - Loss 20-17

Stony Brook - Loss 21-15

Delaware - Loss 42-7

Sacred Heart - Win 49-8

Wagner - Loss 45-16

Central Conn. - Win 51-36

St Francis-PA - Win 47-17

 

From what the announcers said during the CCSU game, Monmouth put in a new offensive scheme after the Wagner loss. It must have made a big difference.

 

They have a very very good running back in Sinisi, but not much else.

 

We match up well against them on both sides of the ball. Our main weaknesses are pass defense and penalties. Monmouth doesn't have a very strong passing game and we are the only ones that can control the penalties.

 

My prediction of a 3TD win stands with over 300 yards on the ground and 100 in the air.
