UMBC playing UVM very well. If they can just hang around, anything can happen. Just keep Vermont off the glass, they are so tough.

That buzzer beater hurts. 35-29 UVM at the half. When you watch Vermont, they don't look that impressive except the glass. Hard to believe we lost both games to them.

It woulda been great to take the one at home, but I must admit that Vermont looks pretty good against a gutsy UMBC squad. Taking down BC(#14 at the time) and a rediculous regular season record impressed me. I still think the Danes can take them, however. UMBC is playing great (save that bank 3 it would be a 3 point game) and i hope they tough it out, if only to give the Danes a shot at home court. On the other hand, i want to get the monkey off our backs and take it to Vermont at Vermont.

Nothing for UMBC to be ashamed of.

No, LOTS for them to be ashamed of. Lots for us to be ashamed of because after today we may very well be SCREWED :angry2:

Remind me to go to the UMBC game next year and to boo UMBC as bad as I'd boo Vermont or $iena. They deserve it for letting us down.

I must say this is a pretty silly post! We didn't take care of our own business so no reason to blame UMBC. Had we split with UVM we would be hosting the game. We couldn't do it so why blame UMBC, this type of post makes UA fans look stupid. I hope it was a TIC post.

Because a UMBC upset was our LAST real chance. Consider that UVM's fans will make it a living hell added to the fact that Will Brown cannot win at Patrick if his life depended on it, so it seems. I was at our home game against UVM and they'll do the same stuff in which we could commit 10 fouls and never make it to the line but Holm coughing will get the bonus arrow lit.

We need to hire a coach who will win at Patrick. As good of a coach as Brown has been, I don't have faith in him at Patrick, sadly.
