Ok...what I have been reading and that is being said by many coaches and CBB reporters after the brackets released is that big time conferences should not be scheduling good mid-major teams. Many major programs should just pay reasonable buy games and let them run-up the score on those mid-majors. If that is the case/trend UA should not be scheduling DII or DIII teams from this point forward. I would rather go get my ass beat and learn playing those teams then play these cupcakes. At least I wouldn't feel as crappy about an under .500 season. Give me an all DI schedule from this point on.
By the way, at this point the NIT is a mid-major tournament. The amount of major programs skipping the NIT to focus on the portal and recruiting is pretty interesting. So if UA can get things together, be a around a .500 program (including conference schedule), maybe NIT and CBI and CIT
