Roster looks very strong. Only 3 seniors graduating after the upcoming season.

Once again figuring out playing time to keep everyone happy should be the biggest challenge. Team gained size. Increased depth and looks strong.

VT should be better this year as well though. Looks like it will be a dogfight.

I can't wait for basketball to start again.

Story today in the Times Union about the three players leaving - http://www.timesunion.com/sports/article/Three-players-leave-UAlbany-men-s-basketball-team-11200423.php

It also mentions Ahmad Clark and Alex Foster coming in but doesn't talk about the Matt Conway commitment.

Verbal Commits has Grayson landing at Central Oklahoma (DII). Closer to home and will be playing in the same conference as Jamir Andrews.

Best of luck to him both at Central Oklahoma and at home. He is from the greater Houston area. Hopefully spared from the flooding there.

Story about the redshirt Aussies - https://dailygazette.com/article/2018/02/15/not-all-college-hoops-players-make-road-trips

Also, for anyone who doesn't watch the basketball weekly show there are interviews with Hank and Lulka. They talk about how it will become "their team" in a few years. Good stuff.

Looks like the 6'1" student-athlete is Isaac White..who hails from Peter Hooley's hometown of Adelaide.

The 6'6" prospect is Jacob Rigoni..who also is from Adelaide.

Watching Quinipiac beating Siena and was wondering why Rigoni's name was so familiar. Nice player who ended up at Q.

No idea where to post this. Didn't want to start a new thread on $iena but this spot works as it is recruiting related...

Talk about killing future recruiting offers. Just wow.

I'm thoroughly enjoying their dumpster fire. I'm over here making smores. UA and VT have been owning them so long it's hilarious. Glad both of our programs recruit 100x better than them.

It sucks though, surely he gets fired now. That means they might actually get someone who'll bring them back to our level and actually be a challenge.
