Averaged 5.4 minutes a game last year on a team that finished 13-20. Sat out 2015-16 after transferring from Texas Tech, where he played 2 years. So good depth, but not a big time scorer.

He was injured...if he's anything but depth and size, it would be an excellent addition. Hopefully he can d up for 10 minutes a game, and bang down low.

Hopefully Foster is a good defensive stopper. Doesn't look like a huge offensive threat. While he is a former 3 star recruit, the stat that sticks out to me is awful free throw shooting.

He is from Chicago. Would be great if he and Nichols can help open up more recruiting from there.

Foster was a 3 star recruit out of HS

Recruited by a host of high majors, including Illinois, Foster originally signed with Minnesota and head coach Tubby Smith. When Smith was fired and moved on to Texas Tech, Foster asked for his release and followed the coach to Lubbock.

The program is in a pretty good place when we get a three star recruit who had multiple power school offers and we say "yeah, he can give us some depth in the front court."

Foster looks like a solid piece of the puzzle. Seems like a good student who had some Ivy league offers coming out of high school also. I suspect if we see a lot of him we'll see flashes of why he was so highly ranked coming out of high school.

The thing I like about this class is that it looks like we got what we needed. We added depth at the guard spots and got bigger and more athletic in the front court.
