The last two contests have been affairs in which so many players on the roster have made key contributions. It certainly reminds me of last season when their victory in Hartford catapulted the squad to a stellar second half of the season and win number one in the AE Tournament. Hey Everyone, Happy New Year to all. For the Lady Danes, it has been a rollercoaster ride recordwise. They got off to the great start outside the conference, then hit a rough stretch, but I really do believe that the win over the UMBC Retrievers the other night at the RACC will lead them in the right direction. Head Coach Trina Patterson brings a sense of calmness and tranquility and provides an environment whereby which the players on the club can succeed. There is no doubt that the talent is here for a strong run through the America East Tournament and maybe even the NCAA down the road! Hey all. A friend of mine sent me the link for our brand new fight song from Earth Tones. The exact website to listen to the tune is on the message I'm responding to. There is no doubt that it's a very good musical composition and it sounds as if there are talented individuals involved with it. However, to call it a "Fight Song" might be a little bit overdone, don't you think? I really don't believe it will put a scare into our opponents by any means and might make the team relax more than "Fight!" The University might want to change their game plans in regards to this as nobody will actually want to hear it, nor learn the words. Sorry if I sound too harsh.
