07 Football Schedule

Montana is said to be releasing their schedule this week after finishing up the last few contracts.

Not sure when Hofstra releases but they are also a definite possibility for a game.

word on AGS is that Montana has Carroll College as another OoC game, which would leave us out of a trip out there. So we could still see Hofstra and/or Maine.

Hofstra is coming to Albany, not sure when.

Hofstra can only be 9/15, 9/27 or 10/6 based on the AGS composite schedule.

Regarding Maine, I'm hearing that Monmouth and Stony Brook (in addition to UConn) are the OOC opponents for the Black Bears.

Rumor has it that the 9/29 Open game will be at Ohio State. The 11/17 game will have the Iowa Hawkeyes coming to University Field. Should be a good game.

on that excel file it says under the PFL that the gridiron classic is on dec 1st, that would make playoffs a possibility.

The terms of the GridIron Classic agreement were amended last year to allow a team to opt-out if selected for an at large playoff bid. If the winner of the PFL or NEC gets an at-large the second place team will represent the conference in the GridIron classic.

 

Not sure about the date though. It changed mid-way through the season this year, so I'd imagine its up in the air again until the season starts to pan out.
