vs Holy Cross - 9/17/16 at 7PM

Figured I'd start this a week early because UA is already marketing the game. I'm actually pretty excited about getting a t-shirt...it looks good from the tiny preview of it in this image. Unless it has sponsors like Mohawk Honda all over it, then I won't wear it.

This is one of two HUGE games in a row. Holy Cross is very dangerous and, St. Francis is beyond tough. Look at there last two games: An opening night 41-31 loss at Montana, and Montana owns a very impressive win this week. Last week, St. Francis lost on a late TD at Towson.

This is not your Grandma's St. Francis team...

Two wins against both of these foes will get me really believing in this team. It all hinges on the offensive game plan...and how our QB executes. Defensively, we will be fine.

I think this one's up to the defensive secondary, because I don't think we can get into a track meet with them. They had 498 yards in each of their games. Only 71 rushing vs. 428 passing against New Hampshire, but it was 258-240 at Morgan State.

As a reminder, the Holy Cross forum is at http://crossports.freeforums.net/board/3/football Nothing there about our game yet.

Our run game is pretty good, need to control the clock and don't let that QB get on the field.

Been looking at the HC fan forum and apparently they have some difficulty stopping the run. Also some depth issues and getting run down at the end of the game. It'll be interesting to see if the D can come up with anything to limit

Pujols. The DBs are definitely covering more closely this year and challenging the throws. In his weekly feature GG says that Hanks needs someone to step up and spell him during the game, but I don't see where anybody has been given much of a chance. Alston has like 5 carries.
