Very promising new recruit. Apparently he graduates in 2016, but will prep another year at IMG.

Tehoka Nanticoke '17, A, @IMGLacrosse (Fla.) has decided on @UAlbanyMLax. One of the most talented recruits in North America.

USA TODAY High School Sports announced Tuesday that Victor midfielder Jamie Trimboli and face-off midfielder TD Ierlan were selected to the American Family Insurance All-USA Boys Lacrosse Third Team.

Ierlan, a senior committed to play at state University of New York at Albany in the NCAA Division I America East Conference, is the NIKE/US Lacrosse Northeast Region Player of the Year for the second consecutive season. Lacrosse Magazine expects to make that announcement June 30.

Who to Watch: Next Wave of Iroquois Nationals Tehoka Nanticoke, A

Nanticoke, a 5-foot-11 righty, has one more year at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., before he will head to Albany. Through Wednesday, Nanticoke, a Mohawk, was second overall in the tournament's top Blue Division with 20 points and, per usual, there's been a lot of flair associated with the goals and assists.

Nanticoke fools a lot of defenders with box fakes and can maneuver around most people guarding him, even though he's not super fast. Behind-the-back. Between-the-legs. They are regular sights. He's got a great handle, most evidenced by his backhand catch-and-shoot on the crease off an 80-yard pass in the closing second of the third quarter on Sunday night against Canada.

"He's tough and he's a lot stronger than he looks," Bucktooth said. "He's got so much control with his stick. He's fun to watch.
