1. Hi guys - I 'm a Uconn fan. I was impressed with your team last year. Almost took us out in the 1st round. The kid you are referring to above is Hasheem Thabeet. He is eligible and it is not because he completed any courses at UConn. The NCAA Clearinghouse was reviewing his high school transcripts from Tanzania (where he's from) to make sure they matched up to core courses here in the USA. He seems like a bright kid and has a load of potential. Uconn is loaded with talent as Calhoun has probably gotten the best class he's ever had. That said, there are ZERO juniors or seniors on this team so we are going to be very inexperienced. We will lose some games people don't expect us to lose and we hope to be a team no one wants to play in February and March. I'll be at the game when Albany comes in. Should be a good one. 17054 is the game going to be at Storrs, or the Hartford Civic Center? Are we not big time enough for the Civic Center? 17058 The other posters are right - the best games are in Gampel. Ask any Uconn and they'd rather have the team play in Storrs.
