From the AmericaLeast blog - the leaster talking about the number of hits on his site and where they're from.

 

........Fun stuff. Especially considering the people that gave this blog the most scrutiny, are the people reading it the most. Its OK, I'll forgive you, this place is just better than you thought it would be. I get underestimated all the time, I'm used to it. - The Leaster

 

AmericaLeast is an interesting read especially if you like sarcasm and appreciate innuendo, but to say "this place is just better than you thought" may be totally off base. Some, like me read it just to see how he's ripping UA and stroking some other schools.

 

I love the self evaluation "I get underestimated all the time" if that's what you believe - you are very self indulgent - remember "you can't see the trees from the forest" some times. I think he/she is just a little too self serving.

 

In all fairness alot of time it's enjoyable because it's like a novel that's actually based on true happenings but not true facts, and as blogs are suppose to be it is extremely opinionated and tilted to meet the bloggers perspective.

Might want to post the entire quote there Patch. I say my blog is "great" and follow it up with saying:

 

"Keep coming, I appreciate it. Buzz Bissinger, does not. I probably was one of the blogs he looked at to formulate his opinion on them leading to the destruction of journalism. If this place was the only blog I had ever seen and needed to make an opinion on it, I'd probably think the same thing. At least, I'm self-aware."

 

So what I'm saying here is, and correct me if I'm wrong, that most people thought the concept of the blog was stupid and were ripping me about the name and my opinions etc. Well, if they were so against it, why are they reading it? It means people who follow America East basketball feel my blog is worthy enough to read. This board directs the most traffic to the place as a referral site. Sure, I'll place my links in a story on here, but for all you guys who say you don't like me because I've called Will Brown a D-bag or think I have some agenda, how many times do I stop by and read and someone is posting a story I've found and you all are discussing it? The blog obviously holds some value with everyone here, whether its you use it to get news or to read for fun, or you use it to fuel some sort of hatred towards me.

 

As for the second part of my comment that you failed to post, I am aware my blog is a place of silliness and un-journalistic credibility and if I had never seen a blog in my life and read mine, I'd think "well that is a piece of $iena". But that is the difference, my blog is not a place where "journalistic responsibility" is the standard I uphold. I'm not a journalist, but I want a place where an alternative/contrarian/my own view can be heard. I believe I've offered that and that most people genuinely like it for their own reasons like I said before. I've never taken "facts" and changed them around either. Whether or not Will Brown is a D-bag is up for debate, but you know my stance. I've taken facts and given my opinion on them, but if that is what you want to believe, fine by me. I know you'll still be reading!

Actually, you take SELECTED facts to help you get to your conclusion about whether or not Will is a D-Bag...and Albany is the program we think it is, yadda, yadda.
