Suspect the coaches poll and a lot of others will look this way. I'm fine with Vermont getting the bulls-eye on them this year.

I think if we're going to be serious and contend we need to find some interior scoring. Travis Charles will probably give us more pop off the bench but we might be exchanging that for defense and rebounding.

One of the things I'll miss about Mike Rowley is that he was a big guy who could knock down free throws in a tight game. I don't see another guy on our roster who can take that spot right now.

Cremo????

I'm thinking he's referring to a good shooting big man.

I've recently read at least one article that named Healy a huge steal, and they picked him for ROY in the league.

https://cbbcentral.com/2017/10/01/32-conferences-32-days-america-east/amp/

Anyone have any early info on predictions on the rotation? The team feels too deep at the moment.

I was thinking, the following, but does the above article change my thinking?

PG: Nichols / Clark / Anderson / Healy

SG: Cremo / Nichols / Cochran / Anderson

SF: Campbell / Cochran / Conway

PF: Charles / Foster / Conway / Lulka

C: Stire / Hank

I was kind of predicting Healy and Lulka would redshirt because of the depth, but that may not be what happens.

From what I read about Healy, he will NOT red shirt. I would absolutely move him ahead of Anderson and also possibly Clark on your PG list. And you should most definitely insert him on your SG list--right behind Cremo & Nichols. He might be the best shooter on the team % wise. Also, note as good as C & N are, neither is noted as having a high %, especially from the outside.

Healy is totally untested at the collegiate level let's give him some time.

As for Nichols and Cremo they both showed great improvement from their Fr to Soph years let see if they improve Soph to Jr years - especially from the perimeter.

I think Clark and Healy will help a lot.

Campbell and Cochran are a complimentary pair on the wing.

If our bigs are solid we'll be in the hunt!

Not to sound like a homer but I am really really excited about this team. Could be the best ever from top to bottom.

-Cremo and Nichols should be outstanding.

-Campbell was good last year and should really improve 2nd year D1.

-Cochran was suppose to be our best recruit last year and very athletic.

-Stire and Charles should be very solid returners down low.

-Clark seems like a very credible backup.

-Anderson did good things in limited minutes. Can hit free throws and the open 3.

-Foster should really contribute.

-Conway looks very smooth and athletic for size.

-Hank looks like he is 30 years old . Haha . Hopefully plays like it.

-Lulka looks like a possible red shirt but def has skill and will contribute in his career .

-Healy is the toughest one for me . Looks like a great get but will he get enough minutes not to justify a red shirt . To me if Clarke can play and is on equal footing with Healy then a red shirt is probably the way to go . Cochran if he is ok coming back from injury should be good at the 2 spot so that does not leave a ton of minutes for Healy. If Healy is a freak great, if not I say let him get bigger and stronger for a year .

Pretty much my thoughts exactly. Almost looks like I wrote that post 1882. LOL

The big thing is, if Healy can contribute right away, then great. Get him in there. Next year wont be much different as Anderson is the only guy at the 1-3 that should be leaving, and Rizzuto will be entering. Playing time might actually be harder to come by as a guard next season.
