I noticed at the meet and greet that the video boards from the playoffs haven't been put back up. I thought I heard someone say that they would be back for the season. Anyone have any info on these? Playoff rental only or can we expect them back? They definitely made SEFCU feel a lot nicer...

Siena's lease with Times Union Center doesn't prevent UAlbany from scheduling a game there against a major opponent, Belber said.

Belber said he has talked to UAlbany athletic director Mark Benson and coach Will Brown about exactly that. The Great Danes play their games on campus at SEFCU Arena.
"I think they are seriously considering it," Belber said.

Would UA be able to get a big name program for a two for one?

 

 

It would be nice if Albany took an opportuntiy to schedule a big name school that has a local kid on it in some sort of deal. Win-win for the whole area if they could get that done
