Recruiting - 2016

I think it happened last year too with DaShawn Robinson. He committed and then a C-USA school came in and offered him.

 

On the bright side, it's good to know that's the level we're recruiting now.

Problem is they keep leaving

Deontae North..6'4" SG. Looks like he started out at Long Beach State before transferring to a JUCO.

Julian Walters..5'11" PG. Also has an offer from NJIT.

Weird that he's being recruited by mostly D2 programs though. Bad ball skills?

Hope I'm wrong, but seems like they are scrambling/reaching to fill out the class. Then again I know nothing so we'll see. Last minute offers to JUCO's with little interest from elsewhere seems like a miss on the recruiting front though.

No idea where you guys find these random articles, but nice! Glad some recruits still realize this school has gone to three NCAA tournaments the past four years.

Great to see our name as the front runner. Hopefully he doesn't get one of those offers from the bigger programs in the article.

Especially that he notes playing time is important. Even if there's a higher program, if they're stacked at his position, or can't guarantee playing time, we have a good shot.
