UA will have been coming off a week break. We beat them 75-63 at home back in January. In that game Evan had 22 points, Greig and Joe each had 13. Rich only played 7 mins, Grieg played 27 and Dallas 20..(we may see less Rich if we play the same way we did in Jan against them). For them, Gantz had 12 and White had no points.

 

UML is 7-8 in conference and is currently sitting in 5th place. They are 3-4 at home (AE games), the three wins were UVM, Hart, UMBC. UML was just beaten by Binghamton (so that makes 2 losses against Bing), but Lowell has beaten UVM twice but lost to UNH twice. Not sure if that says something about Lowell or about UVM..

They didn't eke by UVM either. Hopefully we keep playing the way we have.

 

Coach Duquette is doing a nice job there. He's got an interesting staff, his Director of Basketball Operations (usually a recent graduate) has over 25 years of college coaching experience. You don't see that every day.

I'm ok with the reffing barring a few places. They've let them play and kept the flow going. Much better than the ...UMBC game? Whichever game that had more stops and starts than a '77 Pinto

Funny comment from the UMass announcers about Richard Peters. They said CB sent him into the game to give hard fouls. Not the guy you usually think of as an enforcer.

Will seemed to be sad that he won't be able to coach his seniors again next year. Was nice to hear that he really enjoys them so much...on radio.

 

UNH lost to UVM tonight. Hartford beat Maine.
