I know it's in a few weeks but I wanted to post that the UAA is having a pregame celebration prior to the Villanova game.

 

 

UAlbany football is coming to Philly! Come watch Great Danes football as they play Villanova, Sat. Nov. 15.

Before the game, meet up with UAlbany alumni and fans at the Exchange, Bartley Hall on the Villanova campus for a pre-game reception beginning at 4:30 pm, kick-off at 7 pm.

 

Cost is $10 and includes game ticket and light dinner buffet.

Good lord....watching JMU demolish Richmond today just gets me thinking, "What if". What if the refs made the right call last week...what if we closed it out against JMU. We'd be in serious playoff contention with all the big losses today.

Holy smokes. Kid is really coming on huge at the end of his career. Another "what-if". I think he's been so-so at times in the past, but I think alot of it was on Coach McCarthy last year. Kid has a shot to break many records, including Joe Savino's...and Joe was in a very pass happy offense.

Two really long passes. One to Parker on a seam pass where he dragged 2-3 defenders like Mark Bavaro for 15 yards. It was awesome.

Both QBs having good games... and Fiacchi has gotten much stronger as the year has gone on.

Funny, for two years I've been screaming that if he hit the long passes, he'd be really good. Coach said the other day that he's been much better in the deep passing game...and wishes Fiacchi was around for another year.
