"#1" but High Point has a much better RPI. Chuck South was one of two 12-4 teams and BS also has three 11-5 teams. Now if Longwood goes all the way it would help.

They won't. The whole setup is based on strength of schedule that artificially boosts the middle teams of the power conferences, thus keeping out teams from the middle conferences.

Gardner-Webb beat High Point in OT. Everybody left in the Big South is ranked behind Albany and Stony Brook (whoever survives)

RPI and Sagarin both are 66. Strength of schedule about 250. No chance.

 

Probably have to be no worse than 50 or so to get an at-large.
