According to Verbal Commits, it appears Baker has left North Dakota after never playing a game for them. I can't find confirmation on that anywhere (though I haven't looked past the first page of google results).

 

I wonder what happened there... That kid was explosive and I thought he was gonna be a top player after he matured a bit.

He's not listed on their 16-17 roster either. Interesting. And agreed..he certainly seemed like a talent.

I don't want to be that guy, but I'll go ahead and be that guy: that kid blew a golden opportunity. Him and Cremo would have been #1 and #2 this year. They would have ran this conference as far as guards go. Whoever told that kid it was a good idea to leave or didn't try to talk him out of it screwed it up for him. I would have implored my kid to stick it out if I was ever in that position as a parent.

Interested in finding out what happened to him, just says "personal reasons"...noticed his twitter is shut down also.

They list him as LT which = Left Team for Personal Reasons. Maybe he wants to be even closer to home? As in, stay home? weird.

Speaking of transfers..looks like Hartford granted Pancake Thomas his grad year release.
