If the ncaa would get its head out of the sand and take the recommendations of MOST lax coaches (Marr included/especially); and delay the start of lax until say March 1 and run longer into June (like baseball), it would make the wait from lax to fb a little shorter. Of course the southern schools and those with inside facilities would lose their early season advantages. Can't have that, can we?

For what its worth; Unofficially I had UA winning by two [16-14, 17-15 or thereabouts.] UA took a big lead early. After qtr 1, we were up 7-1 than 8-2. It could have been more, Colgate goalie made some really nice saves. Than gate went on a run pulled with one or two, before UA went up by a couple or three. Colgate eventually tied around 13 each. Both teams kept exchanging goals with UA managing to always stay up by one; and eventually winning by two (I think.)

Things to note: UA freshman goalie played pretty much the whole game. I heard a rumor our jr. and starting keeper has a wrist injury (but the people I over heard, may have been talking about someone else?) UA's new face off TD [touch down as everyone was calling him] Irelan played the 1st & 3rd periods and did not lose a single face off. Last years face off guy also held his own, but not 100% like TD. Freshman attack Jakob Patterson from Arizona had a hat trick at least and the rest of the scoring seemed to be pretty much scattered around. Fields had our first goal and I do not think he had another. I would GUESS 7 or 8 different goal scores & at least 10 or so players pointed. If I am right or even close, it speaks volumes about our depth and scoring at least potential.
