Will be interesting to see how this team plays behind in a game as well. I don't think they've been behind more than 4 points since the Niagara game. It's still early, but can't deny that this game won't determine seeding come playoff time. Like I said earlier 2 games up on uvm and SBU is huge, especially when we still have 5 conference game at home.

This is an important game from the standpoint of, if we somehow manage to pull this game out and go up 2 on SBU and UVM, we would find ourselves in a commanding position going into the stretch run.

A loss here brings us closer to the pack. UVM ALWAYS give us a hard time in the regular season, especially up there. This has been a strange year though, normally by now we have a let down game or two, this team however feels really mentally sound. They don't appear to be letting up, just methodically dismantling teams. Interested to see what happens here.

Agreed, but they haven't showed me any reason why not to believe they will continue to win lol. I did not think they would win at sbu. Thought that with all the emotion from the sbu game they'd lose in Hartford. Umbc a trap game so I thought they might lose, but took care of business.

Now, the regular conference season games actually mean a hell of a lot.

Clack says that we won't go undefeated in conference play... something I favor. A loss brings a team back down to earth a bit.

But let's not take a loss against uvm. Tough game but we can take the win in Burlington.

I personally don't subscribe to the notion that you need to lose to be brought down to earth. Win every game you possible can, hopefully the coaches can keep them humbled and focused. No reason to suspect so far they can't.
