Preseason polls M and W

A nice sign of respect for both programs. Especially the men who lose the whole starting back court from last year.

It seems like every year is the year Bing is predicted to make the jump into the middle of the pack. Maybe this is the year. I'm not crazy about their guards.

Times Union article today about Jaraan Lands has Coach Brown saying that he'll be in the "nine-man rotation." Wonder who all that will include..Nichols, Cremo, Campbell, Stire, Rowley..plus Lands, Charles, Ennema..and then one of Andrews, Grayson, Anderson? Cremo can play the point..so I guess it's not a requirement that the other guard be a PG. Taking a look at the past couple seasons..it often starts off with a 10 man rotation that slims down to a 9 man as conference plays approaches..so I guess I wouldn't be surprised to see that this year as well.

Curious about Lands since we didn't see him and CB mentions him in the playing group without much practice time.

I liked Grayson and Anderson of the guards. From what I saw, I'd like to see Grayson start at PG and have Nichols play more of a scoring role as the off guard.
