  1. 2018/2019 Schedule

I agree... it would be nice if UA would keep update the website with the current status of rosters, coaches, etc.
  2. Perotti is still listed as assistant coach on website (changed from interim head coach).
  3. I wonder what will happen with Perotti.
  4. Any news on women's basketball head coach search? Are we just waiting to take off the Interim label on Perotti?
  5. One commit gone - Jaelyn Batts, following former UA coach to BC
  6. Women's Basketball 2017-18

I can see your point by reading the qualifications on the WNIT site... just wondering how Marist is already considered an Automatic Qualifier?
  7. Women's Basketball 2017-18

On the WNIT website, there are a number of Automatic Qualifiers already listed. UAlbany is not on that list.
  8. Women's Basketball 2017-18

I believe, by winning the conference championship, Maine gets an automatic NCAA bid.
  9. Women's Basketball 2017-18

I believe, based on WNIT selection criteria, UA women should be granted a WNIT bid.
  10. Women's Basketball 2017-18

    Any info on Bose Aiyalogbe?
  11. Women's Basketball 2017-18

The women played well today against Dartmouth
  12. WBB: 2016-2017

Last year we were a #12 and we beat a #5. Perhaps we could get a #14 this year.
  13. WBB: 2016-2017

I also believe Coach Mac gets an A. However, can't say enough about our seniors who had to adapt to a new coaching staff and system. They led this team and helped in the development of our freshman guards.
  14. WBB: 2016-2017

Haven't posted in awhile. I believe a few losses can be attributed to less than stellar coaching. However, as was posted at the beginning of the season, winning with freshman as starting guards in not all that easy. Not really knowing the inner workings of how a university goes about replacing coaches, my question is this... Were any of the assistant coaches of Coach Abe interviewed or did they make a decision to follow her to UFC before UA had a chance to reach out to them?
  15. WBB: 2016-2017

MackenzieTrpcic with 12 assists in 24 minutes of playing time is a nice stat to see (granted Wagner was an inferior opponent).
  16. WBB: 2016-2017

I only had the radio, but with a 3-pt lead and one to give with 9 seconds to go in regulation , why didn't they foul before Fordham set up the tying shot? Coach's decision, I guess.
  17. WBB: 2016-2017

The loss of Zakiya Saunders showed in tonight's game against Fordham. Freshman guards will need to grow up fast for a successful season, in my opinion.
  18. And... there is still no updated women's roster for 2016 -17!
  19. Now that we know the coaches, can't we get an updated women's roster for 2016 -17?
  20. Women's Bball

I noticed that Tiana-Jo Carter only played six minutes in the last game. I was not at the game. It seems that is very few minutes considering that she was having a few nice games recently. Any reason?
  21. Women's Bball

I do like Bose's defense... however, I don't see much offense coming from her. As for last night's game, I did not see Bailey Hinson on the bench. Is there any news on her?
  22. Women's Bball

    Tough, tough loss!
  23. Women's Bball

Was Tiana-Jo Carter at the game today?
  24. Women's Bball

Any reason why Tiana-Jo Carter did not play today?
  25. Senior -- Sam Rowley

Sam was a great representative for the school. He will be missed. Just a great person Good luck to him! Another post mentioned he was our best post player in Division 1. I tend to agree. In fact, is there any other player in our Division 1 era who we might be able to compare to Sam? Just asking.
