  1. Last Up: W (42-14) vs Central Connecticut Next Up: @ Montana State (9-3, 6-2 in the Big Sky...riding a 4 game win streak where 3 out of the 4 games were completely blow outs and them scoring 42+ points) Time/Date: 12/7/19 @ 3:00PM EST TV/Streaming: ESPN3 Local Radio: TBD Opposing Teams Forum: Bobcat Nation Albany came out flat against CCSU but then someone lit a fire at halftime because they absolutely took CCSU behind the woodshed and let em have it. Congrats to the team...on to the 2nd round. CONVINCINGLY!
  2. Last Up: W (31-26) @ Stony Brook Next Up: vs Central Connecticut (11-1, 7-0 in NEC) Time/Date: 11/30/19 @ 1:00PM EST TV/Streaming: ESPN3 Local Radio: TBD Albany had a very successful regular season lead by a vastly improved and record setting offense quarterbacked by Jeff Undercuffler. As a result, Albany finally got into the playoffs as a CAA team and faces a familiar NEC foe in Central Connecticut.
  3. Last Up: W (24-17) vs New Hampshire Next Up: @ Stony Brook (5-6, 2-5 CAA, losers of 3 straight and 1-5 in their last 6) Time/Date: 11/23/19 @ 2:00PM EST TV/Streaming: FloSports ($7.99/mo) Local Radio: TBD Another solid win albeit just a bit sloppy. Team stayed together, made enough plays and the coaches called enough good plays to keep it going. Kudos to all involved! Up next is a not-so-good Stony Brook team who will try to prevent UAlbany from it's first playoff birth after moving to the CAA (assuming committee doesn't screw us). HUGE GAME!
  4. Last Up: W (21-17) @ Delaware Next Up: vs New Hampshire (5-4, 4-2 CAA) Time/Date: 11/16/19 @ 1:00PM EST TV/Streaming: FloSports ($7.99/mo) Local Radio: TBD Solid win against Delaware. Offense and defense both did enough to win at crucial points.
  5. Last Up: L (47-31) vs Maine Next Up: @ Delaware (4-5, 2-3 CAA) Time/Date: 11/9/19 @ 1:00PM EST TV/Streaming: FloSports ($7.99/mo) Local Radio: TBD A week after everyone and their mother gave the team and staff kudos, the team laid an absolute EGG against Maine. What a disaster.
  6. Last Up: W (35-28) vs Rhode Island Next Up: vs Maine (2-5, 0-3 CAA - only 1 game was 'close') Time/Date: 11/2/19 @ 3:30PM EST TV/Streaming: FloSports ($7.99/mo) Local Radio: TBD Albany came out flat against Rhode Island and was down 14-6 at the half but, as has been the case most games this season, came out much better in the 2nd half on their way to a 35-28 victory. Offense was a bit shaky but made enough plays to help seal the win and the defense did their part causing turnovers and even scoring. Special teams also got involved. Kudos to the staff for fixing whatever ailed them in the 1st half and for the players reacting. Pats on the back all around.
  7. Last Up: W (38-21) @ Towson Next Up: vs Rhode Island (1-5, 0-3 CAA all close) Time/Date: 10/19/19 @ 3:30PM EST TV/Streaming: FloSports ($7.99/mo) Local Radio: TBD Impressive outing against the #9 FCS team in the country. Wasn't perfect but UA played very well, especially Undercuffler. Kid is balling. Kudos to the staff for having the team ready to play. Pats on the back all around.
  8. Last Up: L (23-20) @ Richmond Next Up: @ Towson Time/Date: 10/12/19 @ 4PM EST TV/Streaming: FloSports ($7.99/mo) Local Radio: TBD The Great Danes regressed back to the mean against Richmond. Offensive line couldn't stop a nosebleed. A ton of penalties. Kicker hitting uprights on purpose. It was a disaster. Team kept finding ways to lose. Disaster.
  9. Last Up: W (39-31) vs William & Mary Next Up: @ Richmond Time/Date: 10/5/19 @ 2PM EST TV/Streaming: FloSports ($7.99/mo) Local Radio: TBD Team started out quite poorly in the first half with player mistakes and coaching mistakes all over the place but after halftime, something changed and it changed drastically. Team was flying up and down the field on offense, limiting mistakes and the defense started making plays. I'm not sure what happened at halftime, but we need more of that. The CAA isn't Bryant and Lafayette. If we play like we did in the first half, we're going to lose EVERY CAA game left on our schedule. Solid effort by the team all around and kudos to everyone, including coaches. The TE sneak at the goal line worked to perfection again today. I still wish we'd use the middle of the field more though.
  10. Last Up: W (36-7) vs Lafayette Next Up: vs William & Mary Time/Date: 9/28/19 @ 3:30PM EST TV/Streaming: FloSports ($7.99/mo) or NMAthletics Local Radio: TBD Team didn't play down to their competition and smacked Lafayette around. But now, we get to the real tests...fellow CAA teams. Lets see what happens but most folks do not believe it will be pretty.
  11. Last Up: L (38-35) @ Monmouth Next Up: vs Lafayette (0-3) Time/Date: 9/21/19 @ 3:30PM EST TV/Streaming: FloSports ($7.99/mo) Local Radio: TBD Last week was an aberration. Got jumped on early, fought back, only to lose in classic Gattuso fashion. The ONLY bright spot was the fact that Undercuffler has shown he can make throws...but he had a TON of mental mistakes and the idiot coaching staff had a freshmen QB throw the ball 53 times (IDIOTS!).
  12. Last Up: W (45-3) vs Bryant Next Up: @ Monmouth (1-1) Time/Date: 9/14/19 @ 1PM EST TV/Streaming: ESPN+ Local Radio: TBD Solid game in the home opener. Took Bryant behind the woodshed and let em have it like we were supposed to. Defense did its job for the most part in stifling drives but IMO gave up far to many chunk plays at the beginning of Bryant drives. Offense was great in the run game but not so great in the passing game (receivers dropped quite a few easy passes). Definitely things to fix but the team showed it didn't play down to its competition so that was good.
  13. Last Up: L (38-21) @ Central Michigan Next Up: vs Bryant (lost 35-10 to Stony Brook in their opener) Time/Date: 9/7/19 @ 7PM EST TV/Streaming: TBD Local Radio: TBD Solid first game at CMU by the Great Danes. Defense had some nice takeaways but couldn't stop a nose bleed on 4th down. Offense had an up and down game, showed some promise and definitely some signs of a foundation. Things aren't as bleek as some of us expected them to be. Bryant is more our speed so lets see what happens at home.
