10 year D-I Anniversary

I just realized, but isn't the athletic program in its 10th year as a D-I program? I would think that the department or school would make a big recognition of this. Am I wrong with this view?

 

1999-00; 00-01; 01-02; 02-03; 03-04; 04-05; 05-06; 06-07; 07-08; 08-09 = 10 years

Official reclassification would have been July 1, 1999, so maybe they're waiting to the end of the year, or will celebrate 'the first ten years' after they're finished, or maybe they decided ten years wasn't that big of an anniversary and they'll wait until there are more facilities built to show the progress - after all, Fallon Field is the only real change to our venues since D-III.
