They really needed a win yesterday. The next 2 games are brutal and I think the loss yesterday put any chance of the AE championship out of range.

?? Yesterday had nothing to do with the AE. It might have killed any at-large chance, but that was unlikely anyway.

You're right UAalum72, I was just getting ahead of myself there thinking about them having a potential 3 game losing streak at this point in the season (even if only 1 of the opponents is in the AE). As for an at large bid they had to be considered a very long shot with their play so far this year. They would have had to beat Hopkins, Syracuse and UBMC for that to have even been a consideration.
